Celsia produces and markets electrodes for the production of electro-welded wire mesh. In this field, the use of the copper-tungsten alloy is advisable because it offers a product life span of 4 to 5 times greater than other copper alloys, such as copper-beryllium. The use of copper-tungsten alloys also allows the customer to drastically reduce the “downtime” during the replacement of these consumables.
The three different compositions, W70Cu30, W75Cu25, and W80Cu20, guarantee excellent temperature resistance during welding and, at the same time, provide a high resistance to wear during the movement of the electro-welded wire mesh.
