We manufacture both individual sintered parts and fully assembled finished contacts.
The available sintered grades – W/Cu, W/Ag and WC/Cu – cover all major industry applications, depending on the specific operating conditions.
Electron beam technology
For high voltage applications, we use electron beam welding, ideal for assembling contacts with back-casting technology.
This method allows materials to be joined without the use of filler alloys, preserving the mechanical properties of the support and reducing the use of increasingly costly raw materials.
Copper-chromium contacts for vacuum interrupters
We also produce copper-chromium (CuCr) contacts for vacuum interrupters, in Cu75Cr25 and Cu57Cr43 compositions, characterized by:
- high density;
- excellent conductivity;
- high hardness;
- extremely low gas content.
