The CEO of OMCD Group, Mr. Alberto Tedeschi, was interviewed by Arch. Daniele Menzio for the segment “Fabrica – La fucina delle idee”. The aim of VCO Azzurra Tv’s weekly show is to promote the production world of the VCO province, with focus on those who that have distinguished themselves at this stage of the Coronavirus emergency.
The OMCD Group is aware of the importance of supply continuity. To honour its commitments to customers belonging to the strategic supply chain identified by the government, the companies of the Group did not stop production during the lockdown. Even with a lower activity level than before, they have guaranteed continuity of supply to electricity companies and other companies that produce basic necessities such as food or sanitary products.
During the interview, Dr. Alberto Tedeschi emphasized the importance of being able to guarantee employee safety today more than ever before. Within the OMCD Group, various security measures were already in use. Additionally, they have been implemented: the use of DPIs across all business departments, plexiglass separator panels where distancing was not possible, smart working is encouraged and all incoming personnel are required to have their temperature measured.
