FILMS at “Piemonte Fabbriche Aperte”

When: 09/11/2019

Where: Anzola d’Ossola

This year, OMCD Group will take part in the third edition of “Piemonte Fabbriche Aperte“, the initiative promoted by the Regional Department of Productive Activities that gives the opportunity to all interested parties to visit some selected industries. This year’s slogan is “Discover the value of those who create value!“, to emphasize that industries of Piemonte Region have distinguished themselves in recent years for intelligent manufacture, know-how, industrial innovation and production quality.

For the occasion, on the morning of Saturday 9 November 2019 FILMS will open the doors of its production plant in Anzola d’Ossola, to show its hard metal products and its applications, that are not so far from everyday activities. Participants will see the whole production cycle, from the mixing of powder to the realization of finished products, destined to different sectors: oil&gas, food and canning, the cut and wire industry, etc. It will also be possible to visit HI. Lab, the metallurgical laboratory of the OMCD Group, and see a preview of the new headquarters of Premosello Chiovenda, under construction.

FILMS plant covers an area of about 4800 square meters, where work more than 120 people, mostly residents of the surrounding areas.

Annually it produces about 85 tons of Hard Metal, for a turnover that in 2018 exceeded 13 million, an increase of 10% compared to the previous year.

FILMS has withstood, even in the worst years of the economic crisis, the competition of multinational giants, thanks mainly to the direct relationship with its customers: FILMS offers not only a product, but customized solutions, meeting specific needs.

The company pays great attention to environmental sustainability and the health and safety of its employees. It also has an hard metal waste recovery plant, with low interaction with the external environment as it is based only on thermal cycles, without the use of chemical additives.

To participate you need to make your reservation on the https://piemontefabbricheaperte.it/ website. Tours are guided and free, but places are limited!
